Installation Guide

Warning

Make sure that you are trying to install Mio on Windows 10/11.

Mio DOES NOT work on any Linux or Mac system.

Note

Make sure you have Java 21 installed on your system before proceeding.

Installation

  1. Install Fabric: Since Mio is a Fabric mod, ensure you have the Fabric Loader installed for your Minecraft client.
  2. Download the Installer: Download MioInstaller.jar from the Mio Dashboard.
  3. Launch the Installer: Double-click MioInstaller.jar to open it.
    If double-clicking does not work, open CMD in the installer directory and run:
    java -jar MioInstaller.jar
    (See the video tutorial).
  4. Sign In: Enter your Mio credentials to log into your account.
  5. Installation: On the Install page, select your preferred Mio version, enter the path to your Minecraft mods folder, and click Install.
  6. Launch: Open your Minecraft launcher and launch your Fabric profile with Mio client installed.

Tip

You can change the server location in the installer settings to the one closest to your geographical region to improve client startup times.


Post-Installation

We recommend joining the official Mio Discord Server and linking your account to get access to community channels.

  1. Open the Mio Installer.
  2. Click the Discord button.
  3. Enter your Discord username into the text field.
  4. After pressing the Link button, you will receive the mio role on the server and gain access to user channels.
